Top notch kindness here. The French Onion soup is spot on, tasting like it's made from a turkey stock, great flavor! Well worth the drive for out-of-towners like me. Black and Blue Burger was also simple and very delicious. Great foodie stop!!! Plus, sandwiches under 10 bucks! Daily specials!

Last Saturday I had my Birthday celebration at Hunters. For a minimal fee you can use the restaurant for private events. She did a party for 35 people with a buffet set up. Her son is the Chef. Everyone was very pleased. Can't say enough positives about the food. and atmosphere she created and the staff. I have used the restaurant in the past and have always been pleased with service and food. Highly recommend Maria. She will work with you and any request you have for your event. Thank you again.

"Sweet" selection of home made staples that provided sustenance for our journey--old fashioned prices and great hospitality by staff!

Great food at affordable prices. I got a Greek salad with grilled salmon that was delicious. Salmon was a good portion, I wasn't left feeling hungry. Sweet potato fries tasted fresh and were cooked to perfection. Also got a pineapple upside down cake to go, from the bite I took it's moist and full of flavor. The staff was super friendly and my cup never went empty as my server was on top of it. With everything I ordered my bill was still under $30. I'd say this is a must stop if your in Sweetwater.

I love Hunters Cafe. I just wish they had more hours. I love the atmosphere- very old town. OMG, their baked goods up front are great!! I’m a baker (home baker) so I’m careful not to bring home too much, but their cookies are the size of plates😉. Love their onion soup, quesadillas, chicken salad. Sometimes service can be slow, but I don’t really care. The staff is super friendly. Oh, great coffee too!!

We had a very nice lunch. The food was good, the atmosphere was excellent. My only complaint was our server took our order, we didn't see her again, another server delivered it and refilled our coffee, and helped us to pay.

Our server was great, she was very attentive to my kids needs. she checked on us often and made sure our drinks were full. Very cool environment! I think our servers name was Katie, she had an eye patch and was awesome! French onion soup was awesome. Stop by here if you visit!

Really cute, intimate environment. Food was good. We had the Cajun pasta and the fried pickle appetizer. The desert case looked delicious but we didn’t try anything this trip. The sandwiches and wraps we saw also looked amazing. Everyone was nice and the service was good. Definitely worth a try if you’re coming to Sweetwater.
